Accounts Receivable Factoring

Factoring your accounts receivable is a superb way of financing your business on a short term basis. The costs involved are relatively low, and are basically the price to pay to get instant financing. Usually, we charge between 1 and 6% on the invoice - the sooner the invoice is paid, the less we charge. As well, we should note that the lower the level of accounts receivable factoring you require, the higher the rate. There is a large degree of administration with factoring, and each transaction typically costs the same amount in overall administration costs.

Based On Your Customer's Credit, Not Yours

Accounts receivable factoring is not necessarily superior to simple loans or credit lines - but in many cases, it is simpler. Small businesses, or those which do not have a long track record, are typically unable to qualify for bank loans. For loans, often a three year track record is required, whereas for factoring, as long as the customer you invoice has a good credit rating, you should be fine. We buy receivables from all companies, and have even purchased those from businesses with tax liens or bankruptcy issues.

Currently, we receive about 20% of our referrals from banks themselves. Most reputable banks understand that factoring works for new companies, as well as more established ones.

Accounts Receivable Factoring Amounts and Limits

We specialize in providing factoring services for companies which have anywhere from $5,000 to $25 million in monthly receivables. In some cases, and in specific industries, we do in fact take on smaller clients. We understand that sometimes, all it takes is a few superb contracts to get a small contractor growing, and we are willing to help. The result for us is usually a long term, satisfied factoring customer.

24 Hour Accounts Receivable Financing

The fact is, getting your money from invoices in a period of 24 hours with Factoring Associates can mean you can receive discounts from suppliers, and other advantages that come with cash. For many of our customers, this more than offsets the costs of accounts receivable factoring.
